Zamboanga's first indie brand that greatly embodies the unique Latin chavacano dialect of the Philippines. Embedded in the culture of Chavacano Clothing is a passion for brilliant design, ambiguous illustration and bold expression of creativity. Products are of very high quality shirts and prints that levels the brands of Cebu, Manila and Davao.
Chavacano or Philippine Creole Spanish is a Spanish-based creole language adopted, spoken and developed by the natives of Zamboanga through centuries. Chavacano combines vocabulary mainly from Spanish, with grammar mainly from Tagalog and Cebuano. About 80% is Spanish with the remaining percentage composed of adaptations from other local dialects and English.
